Monday Made It

Summer vacation is slowly winding down-only 3 weeks before I need to go back!

I have to say-doing Monday Made It has kept me more on track this year for creating things than last year! I'm in a good place for getting stuff ready for school-much better than I was last year!

First up, I hit up Michaels Teacher Night last week and scored some awesome things.
For a Classroom Made It in progress!

Some much needed home supplies!
My favorite purchase?

This baby!
It's been a HUGE help this week! It's only a 9-incher (the 12" was too expensive-even with a 25% off coupon!) but it gets the job done!

Some of the things it has been helpful for...
I made new monthly signs for my birthday wall!
I'm reorganizing and making slight decoration changes this year, so I thought an update was necessary!

I'm excited to glue them together (I made them poster size so they would be bigger) and get them up!
I've also update my library labels!

For the longest time I had hand written labels:
But I wanted to make them more streamline and cohesive!
The paper cutter definitely came in handy with these! I cut out 42 labels in less than 10 minutes!

I just need to add the basket stickers and laminate them before they are ready to go!
I've also been working hard this summer on curriculum-my ELA curriculum map (horizontal!)
Covers!
As well as dipping into Math in Focus.

I used their pacing guide to make it more friendly for me.

When I'm finished, I'm going to have the ELA map and Math in Focus map bound together as an easy reference for when I'm planning.
My last made it is in progress!

I'm making a plaque for outside my door!
It's going to have stickers/pictures of things I like to do, as well as school stuff!

This only thing I can't decide on it to have my name be Miss M (like above), which is what I like the kids to call me or Miss M--------- (my full name-which gets butchered and is hard for the kids to say).

Any thoughts?

Smiles and Sunshine,
Kaitlyn

  2. You've been busy! Your book bin labels look great. I'd be tempted to go with whatever the kids call you on your plaque.
