I'm linking up with Joy in the Journey and Compassionate Teacher for their Tricks on a Thursday (today on a Friday!) Linky.
Today's Topic: Bulletin Boards!
I only have 4 Bulletin Boards in my room, and one long one outside my room.
One the long one outside the room, I have their clothespins with tacks in the wall for easy display opportunities.
For the ones inside my room, 3 out of the 4 hardly change (slow additions). The other one changes a little more frequently but not very often because I forget a lot
This one displays my anchor charts for Reading. I put them up with clothespins (about 2/3s of the way through the year!), so I can easily add to it.
The next two are my CRAFT and VOICES boards...which I don't update nearly often enough...so no judgements! (get the headers from Ladybug's Teacher Files!)
I kept all the background and borders in the same color family...to help facilitate the sea theme that is (sort of) my room!
Thursday's Outfit
Shirt, Tank, Skirt: Old Navy
Sweater: Maurices
Shoes: Famous Footwear
Today's Outfit
Jeans: JCP
Shoes: Payless
So glad the warm weather is here! I love the fact that I've been able to wear skirts this week.
Have a super weekend!

Hi Kaitlyn!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up! :)
I *love* the clothespin idea - so cute and functional! I hate removing staples all of the time, so I'm going to "steal" that "trick" :)
Next year I really want to have a bulletin board just for anchor charts - I don't have a good spot to keep them and display them so the kiddos can reference them. Thanks for the tip.
Hope to see you again next week!

p.s. Your outfits are so cute! :)
I love the clothespin idea - that would elimate my staple problem for sure!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kaitlyn!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up. I really like the idea of using close pins to keep adding anchor charts as the year goes on. I have limited space to hang them in my room, so I might have to try this idea. I am pinning it to remind myself for later.
Also, your blog background is super cute!
Have a great weekend!
